The Village Cooperative of Albert Lea consists of 50 one or two bedroom homes for active seniors and was completed in 2006. The new cooperative community offers plenty of space for you to entertain your friends and family. The Village Cooperative of Wausau is a new retirement community for senior living in Wausau – located south of Merrill Avenue in northwest Wausau near Highway 51, medical clinics, and shopping areas.  The Village Cooperative is a four story building with underground, heated parking and two elevators.  It was completed in 2008 and includes 72 one or two bedroom homes. Homes range in size from 870 to 1569 square feet.  All are light and open with all standard appliances including a washer and dryer, in-home storage, walk-in closets, private balconies and individually controlled HVAC systems.
